Using the site
Love & Butter is a private recipe community. By signing in and being approved you agree to use the site in good faith — no scraping, no redistributing paywalled content, no automated abuse.
Your content
Recipes, photos, and comments you post stay yours. By posting them, you grant us a limited licence to display them to other approved members in the ways the site does naturally (on your recipe page, in search, in meal plans, etc.). Recipes you choose to publish may also be displayed via public link-preview cards when their URLs are shared on social media or messaging apps. You can delete your own content at any time.
Admin rights
We can remove content or accounts that violate these terms — spam, plagiarism, abuse. We'll try to reach out first when it's ambiguous. Account deletion (whether requested by you or initiated by us for a violation) goes through a 30-day grace period before the cascade hard-delete removes your data permanently.
Accuracy
Recipes are published for general culinary use. We do our best to test them, but we make no guarantees about nutritional accuracy, dietary suitability, or outcomes. Always check ingredient labels for allergens.
Changes
We may update these terms over time. Material changes to the Terms or Privacy Policy will prompt you to re-accept on your next sign-in. Non-material updates will be flagged on the site or via email.
